The board is pleased to announce the following appointments to the Board of     
Afdawn:                                                                         
Robert Emslie, CA(SA) - Independent Non-Executive Director                      
Mr Emslie holds a B.Com from the University of Johannesburg (RAU). He retired in
2008 after 20 years with ABSA Bank Limited ("ABSA") as the CEO for ABSA         
Corporate and Business Bank.  He was also a member of the Group Executive       
Committee of ABSA.                                                              
Christo Wiese, CA(SA)- Independent Non-Executive Director                       
Mr Wiese holds a B.Com from the University of Cape Town.  He retired in 2003 as 
the Registrar of Banks and currently serves as a director of various companies. 
Adolf Potgieter - Independent Non-Executive Director                            
Mr Potgieter holds a M.Com from the University of Pretoria. He has 25 years`    
experience in the financial services industry.  He left Coronation Capital in   
2008 where he held various positions and served as CEO from 1999 to 2004.       
INTERIM RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 AUGUST 2009                         
It has been agreed by the Board that the interim results for the six months     
ended 31 August 2009 will be audited and accordingly will only be released      
towards the end of November 2009.                                               
RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT                                              
Shareholders are advised that negotiations are still in progress which, if      
successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of the company`s
securities.  Accordingly, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise      
caution when dealing in the company`s securities until a further announcement is
made.
