AMENDMENT TO RENOUNCEABLE CLAW BACK OFFER TIMETABLE                             
Shareholders are referred to the announcement by Metorex dated 27 November 2008 
regarding:                                                                      
* a R3 billion capital and debt restructuring programme;                        
* a specific issue of shares for cash;                                          
* declaration data in terms of a renounceable claw back offer ("the Claw Back   
 Offer");                                                                       
* notice of general meeting; and                                                
* further cautionary announcement,                                              
("the Announcement").                                                           
The Announcement contained proposed salient dates for the Claw Back Offer. As a 
result of delays in acquiring the requisite regulatory approvals for the Claw   
Back Offer, the salient dates pertaining to the Claw Back Offer included in the 
Announcement, are no longer applicable.                                         
A further announcement detailing the revised salient dates and times for the    
Claw Back Offer will be released on SENS as soon as the necessary approvals are 
acquired.
